Responsible for data processing on this website:

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical access data (server log files), e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, and browser type. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website). Hosting provider: checkdomain GmbH, Große Burgstraße 27/29, 23552 Lübeck, Germany.
If you contact me by email or phone, your details (e.g. name, contact information, message) will be stored by me in order to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (request related to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to the request).
For the contact form on this website, I use the external form service provider splitforms (splitforms.com). When you submit the form, the data you enter (e.g. first name, last name, email, phone, message) is transmitted to splitforms and stored there in encrypted form so that I can view and respond to your inquiry. The technical infrastructure of splitforms runs via the providers Supabase, AWS, and Vercel. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (request related to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure means of contact). A data processing agreement (DPA) with splitforms is in place or will be concluded.
This website currently does not use any analytics or marketing cookies, nor any tracking tools. Should this change (e.g. through the integration of analytics services), this policy will be updated accordingly and, if required, consent will be obtained.
This website links to my Instagram profile. This is a simple link, not an embedded plugin — visiting this website does not transmit any data to Instagram/Meta as a result. Only when you actively click the link and visit instagram.com do Meta Platforms' privacy terms apply.
You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as a right to object to processing and a right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
Personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
Note: This template covers the current website with a contact form, but without a newsletter or analytics tools. Once booking tools, payment providers, or analytics services are added, this policy must be extended accordingly. Since personal data is now transmitted to an external service provider (splitforms), I recommend having this text reviewed by someone specialized in data protection law — in particular the precise classification of splitforms as a data processor and any potentially required notice regarding data transfers to third countries (the infrastructure used may be located outside the EU).
